Pelican Timing Services is a race timing company based out of Lafayette, LA. Our timers have 43 yrs combined of timing experience.  We are dedicated to helping our customers achieve the best possible experiences for their participants.

Pelican Timing Services offers professional timing using the latest technology for timing and scoring services for running, triathlons, duathlons, swimming and biking events throughout the South.

We utilize RFID ULTRA DISPOSABLE CHIP TIMING SYSTEMS for cycling, running, and multi sports race events. 

We offer many other services which includes Online Registration, at no cost to the Event or Organizer, Live Results designed for smartphones, and Results Kiosk, with individual result printouts for the participants.   Learn more about our Services.

Iberia Mental Health InitiativeThe Iberia Mental Health Initiative is a coalition of concerned citizens dedicated to identifying and addressing the mental health needs of our community.  We are composed of medical and mental health professionals, legal and law enforcement professionals, education personnel, clergy, and suicide awareness advocates, and other community supporters. All proceeds are poured back into the community to help raise awareness for mental health through programs and events.

Fuel The Pack Fun Run and 5K Run & Ruk - Saturday, 5/02/26 In Person Race

1 Mile starts at 8am

5K Ruk & Run starts at 8:30am

The 1 Mile Fun Run will have fun stops along the route for the kids to participate.  There is a regular 5K and a 5K Ruk.  The 5K Ruk is running with your school bag, backpack, etc. 

The awards for the regular 5K is Top 3 Overall Male & Female.  The age group awards are 1st, 2nd, 3rd male & female in the following age groups.

8-14, 15-25, 26-49, 50+

The awards for the 5K Ruk is Top 3 Overall Male & Female.

This 5K charity run is designed to bring the community together while raising awareness and support for local causes. The event promotes health, wellness, and unity while encouraging participants of all fitness levels to get involved and give back.

Finish Line Experience:

The finish line at La Carreta will serve as a celebration area for runners, volunteers, and spectators, offering a place to relax, refuel, and enjoy the community atmosphere after the race.
